GIFT, TALENT, EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILL, PASSION
Kevin launched his career driven by a desire to improve processes and systems due to a summer job on a Ford Parts Assembly line. A Michigan Man, he has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and a Master of Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan.

After joining the GM Cadillac Motor Car Division, Kevin trained on the Toyota Production System with the people at the GM-Toyota joint venture (NUMMI) and expanded his focus to include eliminating waste, continuous improvement and respect for people which had always been a strong value.

Whether it was eliminating $600M annually from Cadillac's Body Shop production costs, reducing Bosch Airflow’s lead time from 3 weeks to 45 minutes, turning around a Standard Products plant from a $1.1M annual loss to a $2M profit in his first 9 months as Plant Manager, getting a Kanban system working at Boston Whaler or converting Wheeled Coach’s Body Shop from a confusing, unsafe five day batch process to a one-piece flow process with a one day lead time, Kevin has used his God-given talent, Industrial Engineering education, Lean training, and vast experience to see improvements produce results time and again.

Kevin has spent 35 years learning, implementing, and teaching the continuous improvement technologies: Lean Enterprise System, Design for Assembly and Manufacture, Theory of Constraints and Six Sigma.
